# Privacy Policy - Deposit Defender
**Last updated: August 19, 2026**
This Privacy Policy explains how SoluLabAppsGames ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Deposit Defender (the "App") - app name: Deposit Defender; Android package name: `com.solulab.moveproof`. By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

## 1. Summary
- Deposit Defender helps users document the condition of a rental property before and after moving out.
- You can create inspection records, add rooms, record defects, and capture or import photos.
- The App stores an anonymous device identifier and offline photo queue locally so work can continue when a network connection is unavailable.
- When connected, inspection records and photos may be sent to our backend so they can be synchronized, displayed, shared, or exported.
- An account is optional for supported account features. When you sign in, an authentication token and account information are used to provide those features across devices.
- Premium features are unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase managed by RevenueCat and the applicable app store.
- The App does not display third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
## 2. Information the App handles
Depending on the features you use, the App may handle:
- **Inspection information:** record names, move-in or move-out dates, property details, room names, condition notes, defect descriptions, and related status information.
- **Photos:** images of rooms, fixtures, property condition, defects, and other evidence you choose to capture or import.
- **Photo metadata:** a client-generated photo identifier, room association, and the date and time the photo was captured on your device.
- **Account information:** an account identifier, authentication token, and information returned by the backend when you choose to sign in.
- **Purchase information:** an app-store transaction or RevenueCat customer identifier and premium entitlement status. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card number.
- **Device and app data:** an anonymous identifier generated by the App, locally stored preferences, and technical information necessary to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.
Please avoid photographing or entering unnecessary sensitive personal information, financial information, government identification, or information about other people unless it is relevant to your inspection and you have a lawful reason to do so.
## 3. Local storage and offline use
The App uses standard device storage for information such as the anonymous device identifier, authentication token, app preferences, and photos waiting to be uploaded. Offline photos remain in the local queue until they upload successfully or you delete them through the App or device settings.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App may not delete information that was already uploaded to our backend or shared through a generated link.
## 4. Backend synchronization and sharing
When the App has network access, it may send inspection records, room and defect information, photos, photo metadata, and the anonymous device or account identifier to the backend configured for the App. We use this information to synchronize your records, display uploaded photos, provide sharing or acknowledgement features, and support document or PDF export where available.
If you use a share link or export feature, information in the selected inspection may be made available to people who receive the link or file. You are responsible for checking the contents and recipients before sharing.
The App's backend address is configured at deployment time and may change. Data sent to the backend is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS where HTTPS is configured. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
## 5. Accounts and authentication
You may use basic local functionality without creating an account where the App supports it. If you sign in or create an account, we use your authentication token and account identifier to authenticate requests, associate inspection data with your account, synchronize data, and connect your purchase entitlement to your account.
You may request access to or deletion of account-associated data by contacting admin@solulab.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
## 6. Purchases and RevenueCat
Deposit Defender offers premium functionality through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. The product identifier used by the App is `moveproof_unlock`, and the RevenueCat entitlement used to determine access is `premium`. Product availability and pricing are controlled by the applicable app store.
RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information to validate purchases, restore a previous purchase, associate the entitlement with your account, and enable premium features. Google Play or Apple may separately process payment and transaction information. We do not store your full payment card details.

## 7. Third-party services
The App may use the following services:
1. **RevenueCat** - in-app purchase processing, entitlement management, and purchase restoration.
2. **Google Play Store and Apple App Store** - app distribution, updates, payment processing, and purchase verification.
3. **Our backend server** - authentication, inspection record synchronization, photo uploads, sharing, acknowledgement, and export functionality.
The App does not use third-party advertising networks or advertising identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics or similar advertising-tracking services in the App.
Third-party services process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We may add or remove service providers as the App changes and will update this policy when appropriate.
## 8. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the App and backend services;
- save, synchronize, display, share, and export inspection records and photos;
- authenticate users and associate records and purchase entitlements with accounts;
- process and restore in-app purchases;
- respond to support requests and communicate about the App;
- diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information or use your inspection photos for advertising.
## 9. Data retention and deletion
- **Local data:** remains on your device until deleted, app storage is cleared, or the App is uninstalled.
- **Uploaded records and photos:** remain on the backend while needed to provide synchronization, sharing, export, account, or support functionality, or until you delete them or request deletion.
- **Shared links and exports:** may remain accessible until they expire or are deleted according to the applicable feature and backend settings. Anyone who has already downloaded or copied a file may retain their copy.
- **Purchase and transaction records:** may be retained by RevenueCat and the app stores for account, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- **Technical records:** limited logs may be retained for security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize account-associated data within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or protect security.
## 10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transmission where HTTPS/TLS is configured. Photos and records stored locally are protected by the device's app storage and operating-system security features. However, no system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
## 11. Your choices and rights
- You can choose whether to create an account or use supported local features.
- You can manually edit or delete inspection records, rooms, defects, and photos through the App where those controls are available.
- You can choose whether to capture, import, upload, or share a photo or inspection.
- You can manage or cancel purchases through your app-store account. Because the purchase is non-consumable, there is no recurring subscription renewal to cancel.
- You may contact admin@solulab.com to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about our processing.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other applicable privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
## 12. Children's privacy
Deposit Defender is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact admin@solulab.com so we can take appropriate action.
## 13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy with a new "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use of the App after an update means the revised policy applies.
