The Solon Vocal Music Department proudly offers a variety of opportunities including 3 concert choirs, 3 jazz choirs, 2 musicals, Music Theory and Composition, Jazz Theory, solo contests, state contests and community performances. The 125 students electing to participate in music are given a foundation in music literacy and performance designed to support and inspire them in a life-long love of music. Auditions for select ensembles occur each May, and all students are invited to participate in open ensembles and extra-curricular opportunities throughout the year.
