The members of the SOIS Service Council are here to help promote and organize service activities on campus.
The Service Council is made up of students from both schools and is supervised by the CAS Coordinator and the SIS Service Coordinator.
Members meet regularly to help get the word out about great service activities, develop new opportunities, and organize active fundraising efforts on campus.
Promoting Service
The Service Council updates and maintains the CAS website and helps connect service activities between the two schools> They promote service through campus publication/events which can allow students to meet with like minded interests. The Service Council also helps you with organizing and promoting your fundraising efforts on campus.
Assisting Fundraising on Campus
If you wish to set up a fundraising activity on campus, please access this form for the Service Council. This is to ensure that your service activity is clearly understood by the public, well promoted, and has the best chance of success by avoiding overlapping fundraising interests at the same time or location. The Council will review and provide approval.

Seeking out new ideas
The Service Council will help develop new Service opportunities in the community and internationally. Many of those activities will be listed here on the, “Finding and Activity“ page.
Developing Policy
Another activity the Service Council assists with is developing fundraising and service policies on campus when the students’s Voice is needed.
