Probation – Classified employees serve a six-month probationiary period with evaluations prior to the 6th month.
Permanent– Permanent classified employees are evaluated every other year within 30 days of their anniversary date as long as the evaluation is satisfactory – meets District standards.
If an employee is not passing probation, the supervisor must notify the Director of Human Resources and discuss release during probation. The Notice of Rejection during Probation form is available from Human Resources after contacting the Director of Human Resources.
If an employee is released during probation, the principal must complete the Notice of Rejection During Probation form along with an evaluation. The Evaluation and rejection form must be submitted to Human Resources.
Human Resources will provide notification reminders three times a year with a list of evaluations that are due.
