About Delphi Rise

Delphi Rise's school-based counseling and prevention program addresses a number of protective factors by teaching skills, information dissemination, education, positive alternatives, and early intervention. Counselors are able to have direct contact and involve students who may be "at risk" for substance abuse within the context of the school environment. In doing so, Delphi Rise counselors can involve students in the counseling process who might not otherwise have access to preventative services.

We are able to provide assessments, individual counseling services, evidenced-based programs, and referrals.

The prevention staff at Delphi Rise are trauma-informed, trained in working with trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

The focus of our service delivery is sensitive to these experiences and the impact it has.

Our approach focuses on what has happened, not what is wrong.

My Services

I provide services throughout the Elementary, Intermediate, and the Junior/Senior High School buildings. I provide counseling and evidence-based social-emotional learning curriculum and character education classes such as Leader in Me and Second Step to entire grade levels and targeted groups across all 3 schools. I also support the 21st Century CLC grant's after-school program by providing supervision, counseling, and curriculum after regular school hours.

Referral Process

Teachers: Please follow your building's MTSS process for completing counseling referrals to Delphi Rise. Service providers (school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, etc.) will be the primary agents in determining appropriateness and completing the referral paperwork.

Students may stop by my office any time I am available, as long as they obtain a pass.
