Year 11 & 13 Leavers’ Prom FAQ: 

Where do I get my ticket?

To let us know you would like to attend, you will need to ask your form tutor for a ticket - this, along with your invitation, will be something you can keep to remember the night by. 

Can I bring a date or friend?

As the event is being held at the school and the cost of this event is covered by the school, unfortunately it is open to Snowfields students only.

What should I wear?

The dress code has been decided by our Prom Committee - Formal, Hollywood, Glam! 

If you do not want to purchase your own outfit, Pathfinder has a Prom Dress Library that will be visiting Bearsted and Cranbrook. You can ‘borrow’ an outfit from the Library for a small deposit/donation - see attached poster. 

You are also welcome to come along and try on styles, just to have fun. 

Can I bring my phone?

Yes - this is an after school event and as young adults we will trust you to act sensibly with your technology. Please respect others and only take photos with their permission, if we feel that you are not being respectful - we may ask you to delete phones and put away your device. 

Can my parents stay?

Your parents will be responsible for you at this event. Teachers will be present but as it is an after school activity, we will expect your parents to be available. Although they won’t come into the venue, the Infinity Cafe will be open for them to get a refreshment. 

Can we hire special transport?

Yes - traditionally some families like to hire special cars or transport to attend proms. Whilst you do not have to do this, there is ample parking and drop off space at Bearsted Campus to allow this to happen. Students will need to make their own way to the Prom - there will be no KCC transport available. 

Will we have time to get ready?

Yes - we have booked the Prom to be a Wednesday evening, if you are not on study leave you will still have time to get home, get glam and arrive in style! 

Will there be food?

Yes - the Prom Committee has already decided on the food options and there will be a Pizza bar! 

Will there be music?

Yes - we have hired a DJ. You will have the opportunity to put in requests before the event.
