Changing the time and date of delivery. Usually initiated by the customer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
CS Support: Responsible for updating the delivery promise on the system and updating the customer regarding the updated timeframe
OMS: Order Management System. Tool to be used on updating the delivery promise of the
Requirements:
Order status is not "handedover" (please see order stages)
New delivery promise should not be the same date as what the customer initially selected
New delivery promise should be scheduled on the next (3) three days
Procedure:
Access OMS and the Order Number
From the “Detail Information” tab, look for “Delivery Promise” and click on “Update”
Select the “Delivery Date”
Select the “Minimum Promise”
Select the “Maximum Promise”
Click on “Update”
Enter and submit the comment for reason of change request
