Welcome to First Grade!

It's going to be an exciting year!

Meet the Teacher Day:

Welcome back! I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

Please bring:

~Library certificate and book list for summer reading

~IXL certificate does not need to be printed. This will be sent to me.

~Headphones- Please place in a Ziploc bag and label with your child's name. Headphones should be labeled as well. ** Head phones are easier for the children to use.

~Please bring a large t-shirt that will fit over the uniform for art class. Please write your child's name inside the shirt with 1B.

~Backpack to carry books and supplies home to be covered and labeled Please cover all text books with clear contact paper. This can be purchased at a store.

~Important information and medication for the nurse and phone numbers to fill out paperwork

~You do not need to purchase the supplies on the supply list. They have be purchased for you. When supplies run out you will be notified.

When you arrive in the classroom:

~Please fill out required information on your child's desk.

~Verify information with our Room Parent.

~Provide your email contacts for class emails.

~Books should be covered with clear contact paper. Due back: September 3,2018

~Please take your child's pencil case home and label all supplies (including each crayon) with your child's name and 1B. Your child will receive a class number next week.

~Our Room Parent will be sending out a Sign Up Genius for lunch volunteers, Mystery Readers and party helpers. Please check your email for these.

~ There will be volunteer opportunities available for the school year. We appreciate any help you can give during the year! This is a great way to meet people and have fun during our school events!

**** Please let me know about any allergies that your child's has.

***Please sign up for Seesaw, so you can begin receiving your child's work and class photos.


***All parents and family members must be Virtus approved to volunteer for school events, in the classroom,parties and for field trips. This is an Archdiocese policy. If you have questions, please contact Brenda Bell This process takes time, so please begin early.
