Students in Grade 2-5 will be creating a Doodle for Google in February. If your child wishes to submit their entry into the contest, parents will need to complete the online entry form and submit a photo of their child's art on the following website. Supplies:

Since we are unable to share supplies this year, we will be utilizing supplies in the student’s pencil case. You may also want to include a small pencil sharpener, block eraser and a small ruler. Please be sure to replace supplies as needed.

Grading:

ALL students will be graded on participation, conduct and effort in art class.

Communication:

ALL communication regarding art class will be through SeeSaw (K&1) or Google Classroom (Gr.2-5)

Grades K&1:

Each student received an Art Folder with an Art Workbook. Students will need their art folder and pencil case each class.
Virtual learners will view and submit assignments weekly through their Class/Art SeeSaw Account, No Live Art Classes.

Grades 2-3:

• Students will use the folder included on the school supply list for Art along with their Art Workbooks. Students will need their art folder and pencil case each class.
• Virtual learners will submit assignments and access Google Meet through Google Classroom. Students must check Google Classroom weekly for assignments. Please join Google Classroom Code: f6ighrc
Assignments will be marked "LIVE" or "Independent"
LIVE: Google Meet at assigned art period, INDEPENDENT: No Google Meet, Independent Work

Artsonia
Students will be using the online portfolio site, Artsonia, to create digital art portfolios. Parent permission is required for student artwork to be displayed online in our school art galleries. A permission slip was sent home with instructions on how to grant permission. Please see Google Classroom for access code.

Grades 4-5:

Students will use the folder included on the school supply list for Art along with their Art Workbooks. Students were also given crayons (5th grade) and a sketchbook for use in Art Class ONLY! Students will need their art folder and pencil case each class.
Virtual learners will submit assignments and access Google Meet through Google Classroom. Students must check Google Classroom weekly for assignments. Please join Google Classroom Code: eg4up3p
