Dialogue 1 – Simple Reservation
Restaurant Staff: Good evening, Dapur Nusantara Restaurant. How may I help you?
Customer: Good evening. I’d like to reserve a table, please.
Staff: Sure. May I have your name, please?
Customer: My name is Rina.
Staff: For how many people, Ms. Rina?
Customer: Four people.
Staff: When would you like to come?
Customer: Tomorrow at 7 p.m.
Staff: Okay, let me confirm. A table for four tomorrow at 7 p.m., under the name of Rina. Is that correct?
Customer: Yes, that’s correct.
Staff: Thank you, Ms. Rina. We look forward to seeing you.
Dialogue 2 – With Special Request
Staff: Good afternoon, Flavors Café. How may I help you?
Customer: Hello, I’d like to make a reservation for dinner.
Staff: Certainly. May I have your name, please?
Customer: My name is Budi.
Staff: How many people, Mr. Budi?
Customer: Two people.
Staff: At what time?
Customer: At 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Staff: Do you have any special requests?
Customer: Yes, could we have a non-smoking area, please?
Staff: Of course. So, a table for two at 8 p.m. on Saturday, under the name of Budi, in the non-smoking area.
Customer: Yes, that’s right.
Staff: Thank you, Mr. Budi. See you on Saturday.
Reservation = Reservasi/pemesanan
Table for two = Meja untuk dua orang
Confirm = Mengonfirmasi
Special request = Permintaan khusus
Non-smoking area = Area bebas rokok
Customer = Pelanggan
Staff = Staf/karyawan
