All Music students will need a 1' Binder to keep their music and book in for class. This is a requirement for all Junior High Music Students

The Smithville Junior High Band uses the Time for Band Book as our begining band text book. You can purchase one by contacting the book provider below via email or phone. Please let them know what instrument you need when ordering the book.

Trumpet

Congrats on playing Trumpet!

It is encouraged that the student either rent this instrument from a store or purchase one used. The school does have a small supply that could be rented out to students if necessary.

The student will still need to purchase their mouthpiece, valve oil and a cleaning cloth for this instrument.

Trombone

There are some students who purchase their own in 7th and 8th Grade. Feel free to ask about purchasing your own French Horn.
