About me:

My name is Mrs. Brittany Shaw. It's crazy to believe but this will be my 17th year in education. I have experience in Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and Title I. But I have spent the last 6 yrs teaching 2nd grade and it is absolutely the BEST! 

2nd grade is where your child starts to blossom into their own little person. They are curious about the world around them. They will learn to read chapter books, tell time, and crack you up with their hilarious jokes. Second graders are the perfect age because it's where little kids learn to do big kid things! 

 I am a Smith County Native and a Gordonsville girl through and through! Go Tigers! My husband, Adam, is also a teacher. He teaches Biology and coaches Jr. High and High School football at GHS. We just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary this summer. We have two rambunctious boys that keep us on our toes! Carter will be 9 and is entering the 3rd grade at GES while Campbell is turning 7 and entering 1st grade at NMS. When I'm not at school, you can find me at the ball fields cheering on my kids and/or husband. We are sports fanatics and love to watch all the things!
