Leigh Petty
Leigh Petty is a dedicated educator and instructional leader with 27 years of classroom and leadership experience. A Carthage graduate (Class of 1992), Leigh went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1999. She further advanced her expertise by earning both a Master’s Degree and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree in Instructional Leadership.
Throughout her career, Leigh has taught a wide range of grade levels and subjects, fostering a supportive learning environment for countless students.
Outside the classroom, Leigh is an avid sports enthusiast who loves following and supporting athletics at all levels. She has been happily married to her husband, Mac, for 21 years. Together, they are proud residents of the community and active supporters of Gordonsville High School, where their two children, Will and Cage, are currently students.
