About Mrs. Ashley Bolger

Mrs. Bolger has been teaching music for 21 years. She received her undergraduate degree in K-12 Music Education from Western Kentucky University and began her career in the Sumner County, TN, public school system. She transitioned to part-time teaching both at private schools and homeschool tutorials when she began her family and homeschooled her children. Mrs. Bolger has continuously led children's choirs and taught children at churches around the area.

Mrs. Bolger loves to excite children through music creation. State and national standards state that movement is essential in music teaching, and Mrs. Bolger utilizes movement in every class through sign language, creative movement, and instrument playing. Her greatest joy is to see students grow in confidence through performances. She considers her job a success if students continue to foster a love of music and theater outside of class or at the high school level.

Mrs. Bolger is happily married to John Bolger and loves spending time with their four children—John, Luke, Andrew, and Mae and 2 dogs-Lucy and Titus.
