The new beautiful iMacs are a shared resource for benefit of every student at the Campus School. As such, we want to treat them with care and respect. What does that mean exactly?
When using the iMacs:
1. Do not make any modifications to the Dock, Desktop Background or System Preferences for any reason
2. Do not change Chrome settings for any reason. Only when you are logged in to the Chrome browser with your campusschool.net are you invited to personalize and modify chrome.
3. Do not turn the computer off for any reason
4.. If you need to move the screen to access the back or to tilt, use two hands on either side of the machine. Do not touch the screen.
5. At the end of class be sure to log out of any applications and don’t simply “x out” or close application windows, but rather quit all open applications.
6. At the end of class, also push your chair or stool in, and make sure the keyboard and mouse are neatly arranged in front of their respective machine.
Responsible Use Policy:
1. Absolutely no Youtube (unless you have asked and been given permission)
2. Only use sites and applications that you have been assigned to use.
3. No gaming on any site including scratch.mit.edu unless linked to from this site or with permission
