Youth Programs

Our program is an active participant in the Keystone STARS program and is a Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts site in collaboration with the Keystone School District. Academics activities focus on developing the skills learners need to be ready and succeed in Kindergarten and beyond. The program also strives to improve social and behavioral skills. The Keystone SMILES Crossroads program is an approved Alternative Education Private Provider through the PA Department of Education providing small group and individual instruction. Keystone SMILES offers a well rounded summer program that focuses on areas of exploration for young minds and bodies.

Keystone SMILES After School Programs provide are located in Venango and Mercer Counties. These programs provide a safe environment for children to receive homework help and to engage in enriching activities. AmeriCorps Members are an essential part of this program, providing homework help one-on-one or in small groups. Members serving in these programs also engage the youth in activities, special events and service learning projects.
