The verb "to be"

OBJETIVO

- Trabalhar o uso do verbo “to be” no “Simple Present” e no “Simple Past”, nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa.

1- Inicialmente, você deve acessar os links disponíveis abaixo e assistir aos vídeos:

2- Depois de assistir aos vídeos, observe os exemplos abaixo. O verbo “to be” (no “Simple Present”) figura nas sete frases afirmativas. Reescreva as frases na forma interrogativa:

a) Ana and Bob are students............ Are Ana and Bob students?......

b) She is your friend............ Is she your friend?......

c) He is a journalist. __________________________________________________________________

d) They are mechanics. _______________________________________________________________

e) You are a pilot. _____________________________________________________________________

f) She is a hairdresser ________________________________________________________________

g) Your friends are teachers. _________________________________________________________

3- Observe os exemplos e organize as frases abaixo. Como são frases negativas, em todas elas figura a palavra “not” (não).

a) mechanic. – My – is – brother – not - a ...............My brother is not a mechanic..........

b) They – mechanics. – are – not...............They are not mechanics............

c) friend – a – not – is – My – pilot. ______________________________________________________

d) Your – are – parents – not – teachers. _______________________________________________

e) We – journalists. – not – are _________________________________________________________

f) My – hairdressers. – not – sisters – are ______________________________________________

g) are – My – students. - friends – not __________________________________________________

4) Nos vídeos você pode revisar as conjugações do verbo “to be” no Presente e no Passado (Simple Present and Simple Past). Complete as conjugações abaixo:

5) Você deve ler as frases abaixo e depois reescrevê-las no passado (Simple Past), como demonstrado no exemplo:
