Students in grades PreK-6 attend a weekly art class where they will be exposed to various art medias, artists, and art processes. Students will create drawings, paintings, sculptures and clay pieces.
Students in grades 7 and 8 have a twice weekly art class for one semester each year. They will build on what they have learned in PK-6 art and focus more on created quality finished pieces of art!
Additionally, our 6th-8th grade students have the opportunity to take Friday enrichment art courses. These courses last for one quarter each and expose the students to a particular type of art media that they are able to explore more deeply. Enrichments this year are: Printmaking, Realistic Drawing, Sculpture and Painting.
***New this year*** We are excited to have a kiln to fire clay here on our campus! Students in all grades will create kiln fired and glazed pieces this year!
