Ms. Tressa Reid feels very blessed to be presented with the opportunity, as School Counselor, to serve and support the families of St. Mark Catholic School. She grew up and spent most of her professional career in New Jersey. Her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education is from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She taught Science in a Middle School setting while attaining her Master’s degree from Rowan University to become certified as a School Counselor. For the past 21 years, Ms. Reid has worked as an Elementary and Middle School Counselor. As the School Counselor for St. Mark School, Ms. Reid is eager to provide individual and group counseling support, academic and career planning and will actively participate in the school and parish community. Ms. Reid is very passionate about children and has spent her entire professional career, enhancing her counseling skills to foster a student’s physical, emotional, and mental well- being.

Ms. Reid is a mother of three, one daughter (10) and two sons (21,22). Her family loves the beach and the water, especially boating through the intercoastal waterways. Ms. Reid enjoys traveling, cooking,  and sharing new experiences with her family and dogs.
