School Social Workers are highly trained mental health professionals who can assist with mental health, behavioral, and environmental concerns that present in the school setting. They provide consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators as well as provide individual, group and crisis support counseling for students. They have Master’s degrees and are licensed with Maryland Department of Health & the Maryland State Department of Education.
