Dance will take place on September 27th 6-9pm

MASC's annual Fall Leadership Conference is November 22nd. The conference helps students hone their leadership skills while meeting other students from across the state. 

On October 16th, 2025; Chopticon took 16 voting delegates to the Fall SMASC General Assembly Meeting!

The second general assembly for the St. Mary's County Association of Student Councils. Chopticon High School had 15 delegates. 

Chopticon's Student Government Association is celebrating the successful start of the school year with a Winter Party on December 15th!

Chopticon's SGA is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Class of 2026. It will be December 16th and 18th both A & B Lunch. Students will be able to make their own ornaments for $2. 

SGA is celebrating each other by having a Valentines Day Party during the February 9th meeting

Chopticon SGA is sponsoring a fundraiser for Class of 2029. February 10th and 12th happening both A & B Lunch, students will be able to create Valentines Day Crafts in Ms. Golsbourgh's room.

SGA is hosting a food drive at Chopticon from March 9th - March 13th

SGA will be taking 8 delegates to the 2026 Spring SMASC Conference on April 16th.

ONLY SGA MEMBERS - A final meeting and celebration for SGA on April 27th. Members will be getting pins and certificates, seniors will be getting chords. Everyone will be getting Chick-fil-A!

The future of SGA will be campaigning from April 6th - 16th.
