Environmental youth Leadership Network

The Environmental Youth Leaders Network brings together youth (7-12th grade) leaders across San Mateo County (SMC), who are eager to make an environmental sustainability impact in their community.

This youth network educates and empowers students to take action now and be a part of creating a sustainable future. EYLN also provides opportunities to collaborate, problem solve, and network with like minded students across the county. The network will convene on a regular basis for youth summits that feature inspirational speakers, panels on career and college pathways, best practice share-outs, time for networking and strategic planning, and time to connect with community partners.

If you are interested in learning more check out the video and read the full overview here. Please email SMCOE's Environmental Literacy Coordinator, Andra Yeghoian (ayeghoian@smcoe.org), if you have any questions or want to receive regular email updates about the network.
