Our undergraduate research group uses a variety of field and lab techniques to investigate the evolution of animal traits, with a particular focus on the vocalizations, plumage colors, and complex behaviors of birds. Recent research interests include the evolution of female birdsong, male-female duetting, sexual dichromatism, nest architecture, avian echolocation, and a variety of other behaviors. But we're not just interested in birds! Students in the Price lab work on a broad diversity of topics and organisms.
