A: We use Activity Diagrams like these to plan out the code we are writing.

Q: Can activity diagrams have split sections (if/else statements, multiple choices, etc.)?

A: Yes! Some Activity Diagrams are too complicated to fit all in one page or sometimes the programmer just wants to map out a part of the algorithm that they worry will be particularly complicated.

Q: Are activity diagrams used frequently in the professional world of algorithms?

A: Yes, professional developers use activity diagrams regularly.

Q:Is there any other shapes?

A: Not any that we will be using in this class and none that are very regularly used.
