We took part in National Walk to School Week between 18th - 21st May.
Children were encouraged to walk to school that week or to come on their bike or scooter. If they lived too far away, they were asked to 'park and stride' in other words, drive part of the way and park up a little further away and walk the rest.
Jack and some of his team from 5T gave posters out and went round to each class to tell them about the event. Macie did a poster for the Smile building and it went on the school newsletter.
Each class were asked to tally up how many children had walked to school each day. At the end of the week, the class which had most children walking was RD. They had an extra playtime as a reward!
