However, their friendship took a drastic turn on Halloween when Jack made hurtful comments about August's appearance, leading August to give him the silent treatment. As Jack reflected on his actions, he realized the gravity of his words and decided to apologize. Deep down, Jack is a person of integrity and compassion who wanted to protect August from the bullying inflicted by Julian.
