Installation of Microsoft Office 365

Note: Before proceeding to the installation, make sure to uninstall the current version of Microsoft Office 365.
If you don't know how to uninstall the Microsoft Office 365. Please click this link and follow the instructions.

1. Download and Install 7zip software.

32 bit PC: https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900.exe

64 bit PC: https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900-x64.exe

Click the link according to your PC architecture, if your PC is new model, most likely it is 64 bit. If not sure, whether 64 bit or 32 bit is the architecture of your PC, you can install 32 bit by clicking the link.

1.1 Install the 7zip software from your downloads folder. Usually, it is located at Downloads folder.

Note: If for some reasons it is not there, go to your Google Chrome and press “Ctrl+J” that’ll bring up your Download list, from there you can see the location of your downloaded 7zip or click "Show in folder". Click the 7zip and click Install.

2. Download Microsoft Office 365:

Note: You can skip Step 2 if you already downloaded Microsoft Office 365 provided by the TSC.

3. Extract the downloaded Microsoft Office 365. Usually, it is located at Downloads folder.

Note: If for some reasons it is not there, go to your Google Chrome and press “Ctrl+J” that’ll bring up your Download list, from there you can see the location of your downloaded Microsoft Office 365 or click "Show in folder".

4. Right click on "Microsoft-Office-365-for-business-V2109.7z" (it is the file name of your downloaded Microsoft Office 365), click on "7zip" > click extract to "Microsoft-Office-365-for-business-V2109\"

5. Wait for it to extract. After extracting, a new folder will appear. It is named "Microsoft-Office-365-for-business-V2109". Open the folder Microsoft-Office-365-for-business-V2109 folder and Click "Install_Office"

6. A black window or CMD will open, wait for it to load. After loading, it will prompt you to install Microsoft Office 365, click Yes.

7. After clicking "Yes" the Microsoft Office 365 is now installing. Don't close the black window or the CMD yet.

Note: The black window or CMD will automatically close after installing assets.

You can check the progress of installing by clicking taskbar (It is the small arrow up beside the clock at the lower right side. of your screen) Click the office icon and it will show the progress percentage.

There is also a folder named "MSTeamsInstaller" inside the Microsoft-Office-365-for-business-V2109 folder. You can install the Microsoft Teams after installing the Microsoft Office 365.

8. After installing, you can now open any Microsoft Office and activate it.
