Collaborative Inquiry / Artifacts and Assessment
SLO 3 and SLO 8 Assessment will take place at a later date. Look for more information in a future academic year!
Collaborative Inquiry culminate in a group and/or individual signature project. Signature projects can take many different forms. The following is a non-exhaustive list of project types: paper, presentation, business plan, prototype, or creative or performative piece. The choice of signature project should be informed by the focus of the course.
NOTE: Although there is no requirement that a signature project be group/team- based, it is important to remember that one of the learning outcomes for this component is to “collaborate effectively on a team project”. So, if the course has individual signature projects, then an additional project would be expected in order to meet the learning outcome.
The artifact that embodies the reflection on the Core can take different forms. One example would be a journal; however, artifact could also be, but not limited to, a formal presentation, created object, or performance piece.
There is no requirement or expectation that the reflection artifact be produced as part of the signature project. If the instructor designs the reflection artifact as part a group/team signature project, then it needs to be stated clearly which aspect of this will fulfill the individual reflection requirement.
