Chaos

This series is about chaos. In my first piece, I combined a graphical representation of the Lorenz attractor, an iconic model illustrating chaotic behavior, with skills I have learned in storytelling through drawing. In my work, I strive to capture my own complex feelings, the complexity of the world, emotions, issues of today, or often simply a thought that intrigues me that day. Today, it is my thoughts on the chaos of the world, demonstrated by a pinball game. For my second piece, I focused on capturing the feeling of chaos, inspired by a story of personal growth. I have grown these past four years to see beauty in the chaos, and I have found beauty in the mystery of life. Turning my anxiety into fascination, I am proud with how far I have come in my mindset; I have found a passion in learning, not explaining. Pinball is still pinball, and the world is still the world, although I look at both differently now. I can see and appreciate its beauty even more now, and I am a better person because of it.
