Maybe you’ve thought about transforming into a pirate, a rootin tootin’ cowboy or perhaps a crime fighting detective? The drama department is where these thoughts spring to life. If you’d rather stay behind the scenes, you can still bring your creativity to life by designing costumes, working the technical aspects and sharing ideas. Being part of the department is a true team experience. You’ll work alongside people from all school years, making connections that go beyond the walls of Duncanrig.

Try theatrics in the musical theatre club which runs on a Wednesday after school from 3pm to 4pm. Or maybe that’s not your style, which might mean that Drama club is a better fit for you, taking place for an hour after school on Monday. So, what’s going on currently in the department? With the season of snowmen and the smell of hot chocolate swiftly approaching, staff and pupils from musical theatre are working constantly to produce the school's annual Christmas show, which will take place on Wednesday the 18th of December. With some fun numbers from your favourite musical productions as well as some much-needed Christmas hits!
