Skillway students on our popular woodworking courses are taught to identify tools and equipment required and to learn how to use and care for them. They also learn to plan and execute craft projects or to follow a prescribed plan to complete various types of projects. Tutors encourage proficiency in practical techniques and skills, to learn and practise different jointing techniques and the use different finishing mediums. Full instruction and constant emphasis is made on understanding and applying health and safety requirements.
