E Komo Mai…Welcome to a new school year at St. John Vianney! My name is Jina Pratt and I will be your child's 2nd grade homeroom teacher. Mrs. Demello (Principal), Mrs. Chee (Office Admin), and Father Vincent (Pastor) are our administrative team and Ms. Jessee (Art), Coach K (PE), Miss Jaymie (Library), Ms. Tiffany Gore (Computer), and Toma Sensei (Japanese) are the support teachers for the current 2025-26 school year.

Our classroom is a safe place for active learning, structured by a variety of active engagement strategies (hands-on learning, cooperative learning, and collaboration), along with positive attitudes and hard work! I am eager to get to know, encourage, and educate your child. The students will learn how to work independently as well as in groups to support and help one another. My biggest hope is that your child will grow both spiritually and academically, leaving our classroom everyday with confidence. Your help will be needed throughout the school year to keep our classroom running efficiently. This can be done by checking your child’s planner nightly and emailing me with all questions and concerns. Opportunities for parent volunteers for potential field trips or school activities will also be needed and appreciated – within safety guidelines from the school.
