MR. Lagod

Joshua is entering his second year as an assistant principal at WGMS.  He was born and raised in San Jose and attended Santa Clara University, where he majored in history.  After college, he moved to Los Angeles and attended USC for graduate school.  Prior to taking this job at WGMS, he taught Social Studies, Language Arts, and English Language Development at Castillero Middle School in San Jose for 12 years. Additionally, Joshua coached the varsity girls’ basketball team at Branham High School for  7 seasons.  In his free time, he loves to read, play and watch sports, as well as listen to live music.  He also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two nephews. He is excited to continue learning and growing as a leader during his second year at WGMS!
