A fun activity that would be go along with The Rose Code by Kate Quinn is to have the teens learn some different and useful codes. They could learn Morris Code, the phonetic alphabet, and other forms of communication that may come in handy one day.
A group of intelligent women are brought together again to solve one last code that might end of the war... but the code may be what breaks them apart. Will the enemy win or will the women band together to do what it takes to conquer?
This book discussed strong female characters and what they are capable of. This type of representation within novels being discussed in libraries is important. Women in STEM is something that should be a theme in libraries and this book helps with that goal.
