Sex Education follows the life of teenager Otis Milburn played by Asa Butterfield. Otis’s mother is a sex therapist. He hides this information from his peers as to escape embarrassment. But a rebel students find out and instead of telling everything, decides to use Otis to earn money by having student discuss their sex problems with him.

The media quality is great. It was a enjoyable watch and easily accessible on Netflix.

This show is absolutely hilarious. It has relatable content but also discusses issues that may have been taboo in the past, but that teens might have questions about. It was great representation within minority groups and tackles a lot of hard life lessons.

Sex is a difficult topic of discussion for most, and yet a something that teens are learning about and therefore probably have questions about. The library could put on an anonymous “Ask a professional” and bring in a sex therapist and a doctor and other informed professionals to answer anonymous questions that teens might have.
