Kristin Fontichiaro, MLIS, is a clinical professor at the University of Michigan School of Information where she teaches courses in library science, data communication, and community engagement. She is the author or editor of numerous books for librarians and educators, including Making in School and Public Libraries and Creating Data Literate Students. Her current research agenda includes data literacy and communication, capacity-building of library directors, and effective pedagogy in library spaces.
