Melissa Cardenas-Dow, MLIS, MS, is currently a social sciences librarian at Sacramento State University. She works in the areas of education, ethnic studies, psychology, and women’s and gender studies at her campus. She served as a Councilor-at-Large of the American Library Association from 2016 to 2022.
