Refer to the chart from Philanos. Which descriptions provided fit your workplace? Mark these. What particular column has the most descriptions that best describe your workplace? What actions do you think your organization needs or can take to move each point forward?
Think about the different contexts of your information organization. Use the ALA Contexts Chart in this chapter as a model. Brainstorm different entities and matters of concern affecting your local workplace. Use the Context Chart Worksheet (available in Chapter 7 of the online supplement) to identify the various contexts your workplace influences and is influenced by.
