Remember all parts are on a probationary basis. St. Joseph Performing Arts promotes a Christ-Centered Code of Ethics which includes being a faith filled, responsible Catholic. We provide a positive environment where cast members can grow and flourish in their God-given talents. It shall be an expressed condition of casting and participation in the production, that both students and parents/guardians behave in a manner, both on and off school grounds, that is consistent with Christian principles as determined by our school and set forth in our student-parent handbook.
Students must maintain a B in all academic areas (including Personal Success and Responsible Behavior) in order to participate in the show. If a student does not maintain a B, then they will be placed on academic probation and will not be able to participate in rehearsals until their grades are brought back up to a B or higher and the homeroom teacher approves their return to rehearsals. If students miss rehearsals due to unexcused absences then the student may be re-cast or removed from their part, scene or song at the productions staffs discretion.
