The Auckland Branch of Engineering New Zealand are running a free photo competition for all school students aged 5-18.
Take photos of engineering or engineers in action!
They want to show Aotearoa the ingenuity, creativity, breadth, and sheer excitement of engineering and connecting Engineering with Art.
There are three photo categories:
Engineering in nature
Engineering in community
Engineering with people
Each category will have four age tiers:
Members
15 - 18 years
10 - 14 years
5 - 9 years
The finalists of each category will have their photos displayed at the 2022 Auckland Branch AGM where the winner will be announced. All the finalists will receive a prize and have their image displayed at the 2022 STEMS fair at MOTAT on 26 October.
Enter the competition by 4 pm Friday 16 September 2022.
Photos submitted must be taken by the entrant in the Auckland region within the past 12 months of the close off date of the competition and entry is free.
