This won’t be a “lay on the couch and tell me your problems” process. We will meet in a context in which you’ll be comfortable and we can get to know each other. You like to golf? Let’s meet at the range and hit a bucket or two while we talk. How bout a batting cage? Park bench? We can always simply grab coffee or walk a Metropark trail (yes, even if it’s cold!).
I’m even happy to meet at your office conference room if that makes the most sense for you.

About Spencer
When I was in the season of my first marriage ending, I was looking for the kind of support that was aligned with my goal of pursuing reconciliation and carrying out my part of the promises I had made. I strongly desired to meet with a therapist who carried the same convictions themself. After coming out of that season, I knew my experiences would be valuable to people going through the same thing.
My passion grew to help others walk through that type of difficult and dark situation. Divorce is very painful on a personal level. I understand that type of pain and I’ve seen healing on the other side. I want to help others do the same.
Spencer is a Limited License Professional Counselor with an MA in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. His career has been spent serving churches as well as private practice counseling, therapy for addictions treatment, and other faith-based groups.
