My name is Ms. Zykamilia Kamin.
I am an academician and a researcher in the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
My background is in Chemical Engineering (BEng, MEng)
My primary work at the moment is to produce nanofiber through our nanofiber production facility in our Faculty.
Subsequently, my research interests are in Energy, Nanofiber, and Chemical Engineering.
COVID -19 Research
As a contribution to the issue caused by COVID-19 pandemic, I extended my research area in food engineering and technology, where my team and I are involved in processing vegetables to extend their shelf life.
We are doing this, in the hope to secure the food distribution chain, and also the economic vulnerabilities of our small holder farmers during this difficult time.
