Biography

Current version:

Zonghua Zhang is now working as an Expert at Paris Research Center, Huawei Technologies France, where he leads a team dedicated to building autonomous driving networks. Before diving into the industry, Zonghua has spent more than 15 years in academia at different institutions (IMT and INRIA in France, NICT and JAIST in Japan, University of Waterloo in Canada). He holds a Ph.D. degree (JAIST) in information science, and an HDR diploma (UPMC, France) in computer science. Zonghua has been actively working at the intersection of networking, security, and machine learning, and has contributed to more than a dozen national and international research projects. The topics mainly covered anomaly detection, root cause analysis, network forensics, trust management, and autonomic Cyberdefense. He has (co-) authored more than 80 research articles, most of which appeared at well-recognized international journals and conferences. He is the recipient of JSPS overseas long-term invitational fellowship (2018) and several best paper awards. He has served as general chair or program chair for tens of international conferences and been serving on the editorial board of four international journals such as Computers & Security. He is an IEEE senior member.
