I am a PhD candidate in Development Economics at Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam, a PODER fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for International Development.
While originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have lived in the Netherlands for most of my life. My academic history is a reflection of my curiosity and thirst for knowledge. I hold undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics, and a master's degree in econometrics.
Currently my research focuses on empirical evaluation of health care interventions in developing countries.
My research interests: human development, health economics, applied microeconometrics, survey methods.
