Short Bio [CV]

I am a researcher at UC Davis working with Prof. Prasant Mohapatra. Prior to joining UC Davis, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ohio State University in 2010-2014, working with Prof. Ness B. Shroff.  I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University in 2010, advised by Prof. Prasun Sinha. I got my M.S. in Computer Science from Peking University in 2005, where I was a member of Peking University-Bell Labs Software Technology Joint Laboratory. My Erdös number is 3. 

I am currently working in two areas:

  • a rigorous approach to cyber-security through the lens of machine learning and game theory
  • algorithm and mechanism design for networking and cloud computing systems.  

I will be joining the Department of Computer Science at Tulane University as an assistant professor starting Fall 2016.
