Bo Xie (谢勃)

Hi, I am now a second-year CS PhD student in School of Interactive ComputingGeorgia Tech. Before coming to GT, I worked as a research assistant in Xiaogang Wang's group in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2009 to late 2010, I was working with Dacheng Tao in Nanyang Technological University.

My research are focused on machine learning, especially optimization techniques. I am familiar with L1 regularized optimization problems, subspace dimension reduction, fast convex gradient methods and graph-based semi-supervised learning.
