I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, and a member of the Finance Theory Group (FTG). I earned my PhD in Finance from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
My research involves both theoretical and empirical approaches. My research interest spans several topics in corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, artificial intelligence, climate finance, and labor markets.Â
On the theoretical side, I use tools from mechanism design and game theory to address practical challenges faced by practitioners and regulators or to explain empirical patterns that challenge conventional wisdom. On the empirical side, my work often leverages novel datasets and is guided by theoretical frameworks to explore emerging or under-explored topics.
My research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Economic Theory.
