Warm Greetings! My name is Zhendong Zhao. I currently work at Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant in Financial Services Risk Management. 

I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at The Graduate Center of City University of New York. Prior to joining EY, I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Ph.D. level courses in the Economics Department. Besides leading lab sessions for courses including Macroeconomics II, Econometrics II, Applied Macroeconometrics, I also taught Summer Math Camp for the first-year Ph.D. students in Economics Department at The Graduate Center and Zicklin Business School at Baruch College. I worked as an Adjunct Professor at Queens College from summer 2012 to fall 2013, where I taught graduate and undergraduate Econometrics (ECON382/721). In addition, I was a Research Assistant in CUNY Institute for Demographic Research at Baruch College from 2011 to 2012.

Though I work in industry, I keep my great passions for doing research. My research interests include: Applied Econometrics,  Credit Risk Modeling, Labor Economics, Health Economics, Retirement, Social Security Benefits, and Economics of Aging.
