The MBE Group at McGill is focused on the investigation of compound semiconductor nanostructures and their applications in nanoelectronic and nanophotonic devices and systems. Our primary research areas include: Epitaxial growth and fundamental properties of semiconductor nanostructures, such as quantum dots, nanowires, and nanotubes; III-nitride materials and devices; Light emitting diodes, lasers, solar cells, and solar fuels; Quantum dot micro and nanotube photonics and Si photonics; And nanowire transistors and thermoelectric devices.
