Studio Update re: Corona Virus 5/19/20

Dear Zenclay Enthusiasts,

As West Virginia starts to open up, we are being cautiously optimistic and planning to open Zenclay on June 1st.  I understand that there will still be many who are opposed to returning and we urge any who have any such concerns to stay home. If you were signed up for a class before this whole thing went down, we will be getting a hold of you to make sure you have not lost your place in some of our high demand classes.

There will be a few changes to our upcoming schedule and class structure. Here are a few of the changes coming...

  • Classes will be reduced to a max of 7 people per class...so if you would like to sign up for a class, we will  ask that you give a first, second and third choice of class times offered.
  • Masks will be a requirement...no exceptions. If you need one, we will have some fancy tie-dyed ones for you to use but a deposit will be required.
  • We have arranged all wheels to the 6ft parameter advised by the CDC.
  • Maintaining a clean studio will also be a top priority. For this we will have a hydrogen peroxide solution to spray down your working areas after every use.
  • Open studio times will now require you to sign up...no more drop in hours unless you call ahead to see if space is available.
  • To accommodate students with our smaller class sizes, we are potentially going to add a Friday night class, a Saturday afternoon class. We will continue Sunday Afternoon classes.
  • Hand-building Class will still be held on Thursday nights.

We will send out our registration e-mail next Monday (May 25th) with all the updated classes. We hope that you are all well and we will keep your wellness as our top priority as we prepare to give our amazing community a safe escape from the confines of your home!

Please email us (Zenclay@gmail.com) with any questions or concerns you may have and we will inform you with our solutions to these interesting times.

Kurt
